Three Died, and Twelve Injured in Delta Auto Crash.
Three persons have died in An auto Crash involving a white Toyota Hiace and a truck, in the Ubulu Okiti area of the Benin-Asaba- Onitsha Expressway in Delta State.
According to an eyewitness, the dead persons include two males and one female, while 12 other persons survived the incident, but sustained several kinds of injuries.
The accident has been confirmed by Udeme Eshiet, the sector commander of Delta state federal road safety corps.
According to him the cause of the accident may be due to driving all night and speed violations, he further said that his men that were deployed to the area confirmed that 15 persons were involved in the accident.
The 12 injured persons have been taken to the hospital, while the corpses have been deposited in the morgue.
He said, “Both commercial vehicles were said to be coming from Agbor and heading towards Asaba when the crash occurred.
“My men out there said 15 persons comprising nine males and six females, were involved in the accident
“Operatives of FRSC rescued the injured victims to the hospital at Issele-Uku, while the corpses of the dead victims had been evacuated to the morgue.”
The number of accidents that have occurred between the start of December till now is alarming, everyone should take care as life is very important.
