If we can recall, it was reported on Thursday that a young man named Ibrahim Musa stabbed his mother Hajara Mohammed to death in Kano State. A neighbor who heard her scream rushed to the scene and discovered her lying on the floor covered in blood with several stab wounds, her son was nowhere to be found.

SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the spokesperson of the Kano state police force, made this statement known when he stated that the Commissioner of Police has ordered a manhunt for the son, and police have been deployed to endure that he’s apprehended.

“On May 3, at about 6 p.m., we received a report that Musa, who lives in Rimin Kebe Quarters, Kano, stabbed his mother with a sharp knife on different parts of her body and fled the scene.

“Upon receiving this, the CP directed the immediate deployment of all police assets to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book as soon as practicable,” the police spokesperson said.
