Festus Keyamo, the Former Minister of Labour and Employment, has derided the former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida aka IBB, whom he had tagged an “evil genius” and the former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.
According to Keyamo, both IBB and Obasanjo were still alive to witness Bola Tinubu become the President of country they had both previously ruled.
Keyamo had made this derision known via a tweet he shared on his official Twitter page on Monday, June 12 where he had
hailed Tinubu as one of the most ardent political “warrior” of the late MKO Abiola, who had won the annulled 1993 presidential election.
His tweet read in part:
“God Almighty, in His infinite wisdom, has deemed it fit to preserve the life of two notable men to see this day: one is the ‘evil genius’ who rescinded the election, and the other individual is Abiola’s kinsman from Ota who approved the annulment and has tried to play ‘God’ in the nation’s affairs.
In all of the instances, I have never seen a greater scenario in the records of our nation which fits the saying that life, truly, has come full circle!”
