The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has apprehended a woman, named Mrs Abibatu Jimoh for supplying foodstuffs like Garri and other food items to kidnappers in the state.
Jimoh is particularly accused of providing food items to the kidnappers of Jumoke Bamigboye, the wife of a former military governor of Osun State, Col. Theophilus Bamigboye (rtd).
Jimoh had been arrested together with three male suspects identified as Abubakar Ibrahim, Mamud Ibrahim and Muhamed Kiri
The command’s spokesman, Ajayi Okasanmi, had confirmed this saying: “Abibatu was discovered to be the supplier of Garri and other food items which victims of kidnappers are fed with while they’re still in captivity.”
