The January transfer window is in full swing with clubs throughout Europe working hard to get deals done to strengthen their squads. Napoli Proposal for Osimhen-Garnacho

Napoli are said to have tabled a discounted fee for Victor Osimhen, but only as long as Manchester United lower their demands for Alejandro Garnacho. Napoli are eyeing Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho to fill the void left by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, says Il Mattino. The Telegraph claims that United now want at least £50m in return for the Argentine winger, after initially setting a £60m price tag, because of tightening finances. Napoli’s offer is currently at €55m (£46.4m), so there is a gap to negotiate. Chelsea are also interested in Garnacho, with their scouts in dialogue after the match against Wolves.

Casemiro’s Future Under the Microscope

MAN UTD ‘fed up’ with underperforming midfielder, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is said to be “fed up” with the performances of Casemiro and is willing to sell him this month (Fichajes). CaughtOffside feel that United might even have to lower their £30m demand, as it appears they’ll not be attracting many suitors. The predicament puts the club’s rebuilding project, not to mention financial health, in doubt.

Chelsea Eyeing Jhon Durán Move

Chelsea are in renewed dialogue with Aston Villa over a potential January deal for Colombian striker Jhon Durán. The 21-year-old was close to a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer and is still one of the Blues’ top targets as they look to strengthen their attack (Simon Phillips).

Real Madrid Enter Race For Diomande

According to Fichajes, Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande has captured the attention of many elite clubs, including Real Madrid, who seem interested in signing him. The 19-year-old is also drawing interest from Premier League sides as he continues to intrigue.

Arsenal Considerations For Luiz As Jorginho Exit Beckons

Now, RTI Esporte claims Arsenal must sell Jorginho this month in order to complete a transfer for Defensive midfield star Douglas Luiz from Juventus. Luiz is also on Manchester City’s radar, making him a man in demand in the market. Dusan Vlahovic, on the other hand, is wanted by the Gunners in a winter transfer, as they have reached out to the player’s representatives to discuss the 23-year-old Juventus striker (Calciomercato)

Liverpool Leading Isak Race

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak Pundits concerned over Liverpool finally doing right thing (FootballTransfers) Liverpool are now ahead of Arsenal in the race for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak. Newcastle are braced for his exit by targeting Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres as a replacement.

Interest in Wolves’ Matheus Cunha

Wolves find themselves in a battle for the young striking talent Matheus Cunha, with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Nottingham Forest among clubs pursuing him. Cunha has a verbal agreement in place with the club for a new contract, but is currently reluctant to sign. Manager Vitor Pereira has made no secret of his discontent with the Brazilian’s more recent displays, only leading to more speculation (Daily Mail).

Other Transfer Highlights

  • Fulham have made an inquiry for Emerson Royal from AC Milan but a deal is dependent on Milan securing Kyle Walker from Manchester City.
  • Palmeiras have tabled a €27m (£22.8m) offer for striker Vitor Roque from Barcelona.
  • Celtic saw a £10m bid rejected by Aston Villa for Louie Barry (Football Insider).

Meanwhile, clubs are scrambling to agree and complete deals ahead of the January window, which means they are running out of time.
