The Somali National Army, in collaboration with international forces, carried out a successful military operation in the Biya Cadde area of Hirshabelle state on Sunday, according to Somali National Television (SNTV), over 40 al-Shabaab militants were eliminated in this attack. Cooperation Between National and International Forces

The Somali army did not act alone. Their international allies played a key role in executing the mission. Reports indicate that local communities also assisted in intelligence gathering, making the operation even more effective. This highlights the importance of unity in combating extremist groups like al-Shabaab, which has terrorized the region for years.

The Fight Against Terrorism Continues

Despite this success, security forces are not slowing down. SNTV reported that the military, international partners, and local citizens are still carrying out operations to eliminate the remaining threats. The Somali government remains determined to weaken al-Shabaab’s influence and restore peace to affected regions.

How long will these victories last? While eliminating 40 terrorists is a step forward, the group is known for regrouping and launching counterattacks. Somalia’s fight against al-Shabaab is far from over.
