Wike Fires Back: “It’s Tinubu Till 2031, Not Me in 2027!”

If anyone still had doubts about where Nyesom Wike’s loyalty lies, they can rest now. The man has made it crystal clear, it’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu till 2031. The same Wike who once carried the PDP flag like a badge of honour now proudly flies Tinubu’s colours. The court of public opinion might call it betrayal, but Wike calls it loyalty. A loyal Tinubu boy through and through, even if it means turning his back on the very party that made him.

A Loyalist in Action

When Wike says “It’s Tinubu till 2031,” he’s not joking. He’s living it. Every speech, every project, every public appearance, all roads lead to Tinubu. For someone who once swore he would never bow to the APC, Wike has become one of its loudest defenders. His aides now repeat it like gospel: “Wike stands with Tinubu.” Not with PDP. Not with Atiku. Not even with his old allies. Politics may be full of surprises, but Wike’s sudden devotion to Tinubu has been a full-blown conversion.

Wike Fires Back: “It’s Tinubu Till 2031, Not Me in 2027!”

PDP’s Betrayed Son

Wike used to be the loudest voice in PDP’s war room. He fought, shouted, and even insulted people in the name of the party. Today, the same man openly mocks the opposition’s efforts to rebuild. His statement that “it’s Tinubu till 2031” isn’t just loyalty, it’s a public declaration of divorce from PDP. The party he once built with his sweat has now become the one he casually dismisses. In Nigerian politics, betrayal is normal. But Wike’s own version feels more personal. He has turned his former party into the punchline of his loyalty story.

The Tinubu Agenda Above All

As Minister of the FCT, Wike has aligned every move with Tinubu’s vision. His aides proudly say he is delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda in Abuja. But beneath the achievements lies the truth, Wike is not working for the people; he’s working for approval. His latest statement makes one thing clear: if you are not pro-Tinubu, Wike is not with you. He doesn’t hide it, and maybe that’s the most dangerous part, his confidence in abandoning his roots while calling it service.

A Calculated Survival

Politics in Nigeria is rarely about ideology, it’s about survival. And Wike has mastered the game. He knows where power sits, and he’s parking there comfortably. Those who once saw him as the face of opposition now watch him defend the government with energy that once belonged to his critics. His line, “It’s Tinubu till 2031” — is a big blown strategy.

The PDP’s Pain

For the PDP, Wike’s new song is a stab in the back. The man who used to bankroll the party in hard times now sings praises to its rival. And while he insists he’s not planning to run in 2027, that statement only deepens the wound. The betrayal isn’t in contesting, it’s in cheering for the enemy. Wike’s words show that the PDP is not just losing members, it’s losing its backbone.

At this point, no one should be shocked. Nyesom Wike has made his choice. He’s no longer a PDP man, he’s Tinubu’s most loyal soldier.
