‘Stop Waiting for Miracles, Tinubu Is the Angel,’ Says Yahaya Bello

‘Stop Waiting for Miracles, Tinubu Is the Angel,’ Says Yahaya Bello

When Yahaya Bello says “Tinubu is the angel,” you can only laugh and check your pocket, because history has taught Nigerians that whenever Bello starts praising someone, something else is cooking. The former Kogi governor, known more for scandals than service, has suddenly found divine inspiration in President Bola Tinubu. According to him, Nigerians should stop waiting for miracles because the miracle worker is already in Aso Rock. Coming from Bello, that’s rich, almost as rich as the funds he allegedly looted while in office.

The Irony of a ‘Converted’ Politician

Yahaya Bello’s attempt to sell Tinubu as heaven’s gift feels more like a desperate audition for political favor. A man whose own record as governor remains heavily stained now preaching reform and patience. He is trying to secure his place in the president’s circle of loyalists.

‘Stop Waiting for Miracles, Tinubu Is the Angel,’ Says Yahaya Bello

When Praise Sounds Like Strategy

You don’t need a prophet to see through the flattery. Yahaya Bello’s sermon about Tinubu fixing Nigeria is less about belief and more about survival. The man knows power when he sees it and wants to stay close to it, even if it means worshipping at the altar of Tinubu. His so-called “angel” talk isn’t about faith in leadership, it’s about faith in political gain.

The Real Joke

Every politician who finds himself out of relevance suddenly becomes a preacher for the man in power. Yahaya Bello saying “Tinubu is the angel” is like a thief preaching honesty, the irony is so loud it drowns the message. For a man accused of mismanaging billions, his words don’t inspire confidence, they just remind Nigerians how low political loyalty can go.

Bottom Line

So when Yahaya Bello says “Stop waiting for miracles, Tinubu is the angel,” Nigerians should probably hold their wallets tighter. A once-powerful ex-governor trying to rewrite his legacy by singing hymns for the president. If Bello tells you the sky is blue, you might want to step outside and check, because from his lips, even truth sounds suspicious.
