Freiburgfussbaln’s Allianz Arena was named the lone candidate to stage the 2028 UEFA Champions League final by the club while London’s Wembley Stadium and Barcelona’s Camp Nou, which will be renovated, will be the two venues to vie for the 2029 edition, UEFA made the announcement on Friday.
It will be the 2025 final that Munich will also host. Munich has held Europe’s top club competition in the past, from 1979, 1993, and 1997 at the Olympic Stadium and in 2012 and 2025 at the Allianz Arena. The 2026 final will be at Budapest’s Puskás Arena, with the 2027 final hosted at Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium. UEFA will announce their decision between London and Barcelona for the 2029 final in September 2026.

FIFA has also informed that fans willing to watch the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico should be aware of the entry requirements for each of the host countries. The organization in charge of the event warned that “a match ticket is not an admission” and recommended visitors to go to FIFA.com/tickets for more information.
The first ticket draw period which is until October 31 is available to everyone and a domestic priority window for the residents of the three host countries will be open from November 12. The 2026 tournament will be the biggest World Cup ever.
