Paris Saint-Germain and England were the biggest winners of the 2025 FIFPRO Men’s and Women’s World 11, which was announced on Monday, as both teams had five players each selected in their respective lineups.

Over 26,000 professional players from all around the world voted for the global players’ association awards that saw Barcelona’s 18-year-old prodigy Lamine Yamal becoming the youngest player ever to be named in the Men’s World 11. Lucy Bronze of England was the record-breaking eighth time selected in the women’s team.

PSG’s Champions League-winning core was Donnarumma, Hakimi, Mendes, Vitinha, and Dembélé, the Ballon d’Or winner. Alongside them were Kylian Mbappé, Virgil van Dijk, Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Pedri, and Yamal.

In the women’s category, England’s Euro 2025 winners Hannah Hampton, Bronze, Leah Williamson, Chloe Kelly, and Alessia Russo were all recognised for retaining their continental crown. Millie Bright also got the nod following her international retirement.

Africa has made history by having two representatives for the first time — Zambia’s Barbra Banda, who is on her second selection, and Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak, who is making her debut.

The acknowledgment is the icing on the cake for a dominant year of PSG and England, whose stars are still shining bright on the world ‍‌‍‍‌stage.
