Ayo Akinyelure of Ondo central senatorial District and Nicholas Tofowomo of Ondo South senatorial District have both lost their proposal to remain as a Senator in the upper chamber of the National assembly.
Both senators who were running for the position under the people’s democratic party lost the ticket on Monday in the primaries of the party held in Ondo state. Ayo got a total of 58 votes coming behind Mr ifedayo Adedipe who came first with a total of 82 votes. Nicholas on the other hand got 74 votes, just a 4-votes difference from Agbola Ajayi who got 78 votes.
