Dr. Saleh Abubakar, a former registrar of JAMB has been confirmed dead. This was confirmed by his family member, Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa. He said Dr. Abubakar had died from a prolonged illness at a hospital in Kaduna state.
In his lifetime, he was a graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1973 and studied history. He was also a lecturer at the University for nineteen years. He later became the CEO of the College of Preliminary Studies in Yola, and was once the head of the college of education, Jalingo. He joined JAMB in 1996 as Director of Admissions.
He died at the age of 74 years and has already been buried according to Islam laws and traditions.
