Arsenal showed their dominance in the North London derby by securing a 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur thanks to an outstanding hat-trick from Eberechi Eze. This victory lengthened the Gunners’ winning streak in the derby to four games ,marking their sequence this century.
Arsenal began energetically with Eze crafting an early chance within three minutes via a smart flick that found Declan Rice though his volley was stopped. Bukayo Saka and Mikel Merino also posed threats as the home side forced Spurs back into their defensive half. The opening goal came at the minute when Leandro Trossard received Merino’s accurate pass and his shot deflected off Micky van de Ven deceiving Guglielmo Vicario.

Five minutes afterwards Arsenal extended their advantage. Eze’s quick skill inside the area created room, for a shot once more deflecting off Van de Ven before settling in the goal. Moments after the second half began Eze scored more receiving Jurriën Timber’s pass and then accurately placing the ball in the lower corner.
Richarlison momentarily reignited Spurs’ chances with a distant goal—their inaugural attempt on goal—but it stood out as an uncommon moment. Eze then completed his hat-trick as he elegantly sat Destiny Udogie, to the ground before scoring.
Arsenal remain six points clear at the top, while Spurs continue to struggle, with just one win in their last five matches.
