Arsenal passed the FA Cup fifth round easily with a 4-0 demolition of Wigan Athletic, netting all four of their goals in the first 27 minutes at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Leading the way with two assists were Eberechi Eze, providing the passes for Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli, before defender Jack Hunt scored the third one into his own net.
Gabriel Jesus rounded off the scoring by adding a fourth before the half-hour mark, effectively ending the contest even though Wigan tightened up after the break.

In other matches, Leeds United had to go into penalties after their 1-1 draw at Birmingham City. Lukas Nmecha was the first to score to give Leeds the lead but then Patrick Roberts forced extra time and Leeds eventually won the shootout.
Wolverhampton Wanderers fought through bad weather to win 1-0 at Grimsby Town with Santiago Bueno’s goal being the only one of the game.Fulham and Sunderland wins rounded off a pretty good day for the top-tier clubs as the FA Cup offered excitement but very few major upsets.
