The round of 16 draw for the UEFA Europa League took place on Friday afternoon in Nyon, Switzerland, and the event has set the route to the final in Istanbul this May.

At the top of the table, Olympique Lyonnais will face RC Celta de Vigo, while the second seeds Aston Villa FC have been drawn against Lille OSC in one of the most exciting ties of the round.

Lille were the ones to progress after a dramatic extra-time win against Red Star Belgrade, Nathan Ngoy scoring the winning goal. Villa, on the other hand, is enjoying a prosperous European run as they aim for a comeback to the European stage.
