The Baltimore Ravens could possess one of the league’s most feared pass rushes this season, and their training session on Wednesday was highly competitive.
Free agent signee Trey Hendrickson put on a good performance, but many eyes were also looking toward who will line up at the outside linebacker position opposite the star defensive end.
According to Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport, Tavius Robinson, Mike Green, and rookie Zion Young are all fighting for one of the more prominent positions in the NFL: “It’s an interesting position battle at outside linebacker, but one I have Young winning it ultimately over veteran Tavius Robinson, and a very promising 2025 second-round pick in Mike Green. All 3 players should see significant time, though.”

For whatever it’s worth, Davenport views Young’s physicality and athletic ability as more suited for the role at some point in his career. On another note from a different writer, NFL.com put the Ravens as the second team most likely to dethrone the Super Bowl defending Seahawks, as Baltimore is in a new era with Head Coach Jesse Minter, as many look for Lamar Jackson to have an MVP-type year after being hampered by injuries last season.
On the other side of the ball, it looks like corner Marlon Humphrey has some huge shoes to fill as he struggled in coverage last season, as his contract expires at the end of the 2026 season.
