The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has had a request to extend their stay in Seattle following Tuesday’s victory.
Hossam Hassan has insisted the Pharaohs will head to their usual training base in Spokane following their victory in Vancouver over New Zealand, having touched down in Washington after being scheduled to check into their accommodation for four nights.

“The security authorities rejected the team’s request to stay in Seattle,” Hassan confirmed in an e-statement.
Egypt were in high spirits having managed their first-ever World Cup win against New Zealand, with prolific striker Mohamed Salah being on the scoresheet to seal the victory.
