This summer’s European transfer window is in full flow, and the biggest and best are preparing to make waves across the continent’s biggest teams.

The European Champions of the Premier League will consider a sensational raid for Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian’s circumstances at Real Madrid are being assessed, and there are concerns with his current negotiations. Should a new contract fail to materialize, it could be the largest transfer of the window from a financial point of view.

It would not be the only action this summer for them, and the Londoners were believed to have reached a personal contract agreement with Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes. Eddie Howe admitted he couldn’t pledge the continued presence of the Newcastle midfield general at St. James’ Park. There are still claims they could be considering their Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez options.

Chelsea are on the cusp of signing the “seductive” 52million of Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix after having completed a medical. A number are expected to leave the Stamford Bridge outfit, with Serie A new boys Como pressing on a 30m bid for Trevoh Chalobah after the offer was raised from previously rejected offers.

Atletico Madrid landed South Korea international Lee Kang-In from PSG in a deal estimated at 40million. FC Barcelona strengthened again previous to this week’s fixture by signing German striker Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. Championship-based outfit Newly-promoted Premier League outfit Ipswich Town brought Japanese international Daizen Maeda in from Celtic on a 3-year contract.

In addition to new arrivals, Real Madrid are confident they could secure Man City and Real Madrid star midfielder Rodri from under their rival’s nose, having also entered the hunt with a 100-million euro bid for talented R.B Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.

A lot of football remains for us to see before and as it draws to a close in August, but the big guns are playing for huge names, and a move for Vinicius Jr looks set to be an interesting development this summer.
