West Ham United have parted company with head coach Nuno Espirito Santo after just 13 games of their Championship campaign due to recent poor results.
The axe dropped following two successive defeats to Southampton and West Brom left the Hammers in eighth place, six points adrift of Middlesbrough.
In September 2025 he was appointed West Ham manager to replace Graham Potter and failed to keep them in the Premier League at the end of 2025-26.
The Portuguese have featured 53 times, winning 19, drawing 15 and losing 19, as their side have scored 90 times and shipped 80.

West Ham also announced his exit, saying the board had decided to make a change to ‘continue to move the club forward and achieve its objectives’.
The Hammers are likely to be busy in their search for a successor and it is understood that Scott Parker – who previously managed Burnley – is leading the charge.
Parker was released by Burnley in April after making 129 appearances for West Ham.
The 46-year-old has Championship experience under his belt having led Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley to promotion to the Premier League.
West Ham are back in action on Wednesday with an away game at Cardiff City as they attempt to bounce back from their recent not so good run of form.
