American film legend Nicolas Cage and his wife Riko Shibata have welcomed their first child who was born recently. They had a girl together, according to a statement issued by the couple’s spokesperson. The arrival of their daughter has been joyfully announced by Nicholas and Riko. Both mother and daughter are doing well, according to the statement.
Shibata’s pregnancy was initially announced in January. This came after the actor revealed to Kelly Clarkson that they were expecting a daughter and intended to give her the name Lennon Augie in honor of John Lennon and Cage’s father, August Coppola. “I’ll call her Lenny for short. I’m thrilled. It’s going to be the biggest adventure of my life,” he said. With his ex-wives Christina Fulton and Alice Kim, Cage has two sons: Weston, 31, and Kal-El, 16.
