There’s every possibility that Peter Olayinka might get an Invite to come feature in Nigeria’s friendly game against Algeria, slated to hold next week Friday in the Mohamed Hamaloui stadium Constantine, following his goal for Slavia Prague in their 3-2 win over Ballkani in Friday’s Europa conference league.
Olayinka who last featured for Nigeria in the 2021 Africa cup of Nations might get a call-up in the friendly game against Algeria, also putting into consideration that Osimhen, Sadiq, and Semi would not be able to feature in the match due to injury.
This goal makes it Olayinka’s fourth goal in this year’s UECL, as he scored two goals during the qualifiers. Ermal Karsniqi scored the first goal in the 23rd minute for Ballkani, putting them in the lead. Olayinka equalized for Slavia by netting the ball into the goal, making it 2-2. Olayinka also provided an assist for Lukas Masopust, who scored the third goal that gave them victory over Ballkani.
This win sees Slavia climb up to the top of the table with Four points from two games.
