Cardi B has taken to Instagram to speak out after she was given 15 days of community service as punishment after she agreed to a plea deal.

The rapper appeared in court on Thursday, 15 September, where she pled guilty to a 3rd-degree assault and dangerous endangerment, both misdemeanors. The plea deal means that she would avoid a court trial and a possible jail sentence.

As part of the plea, there’s an order of protection that requires Cardi to stay away from the women she ordered an attack on for 3 years.

“Every day the sun won’t shine, but that’s why I love tomorrow,” she had posted on Instagram alongside pictures of her in court today, September 15.

It is of note to mention that Cardi B had been accused of ordering an attack on 2 strip club bartenders and sisters, Jade and Baddie Gi, in August of 2018. Cardi had allegedly thought that Jade had slept with her man, Offset, hence the assault.
