Nigerian musician and multi-instrumentalist, Seun Kuti has made a statement claiming that Nigerian youths should involve themselves in internet fraudulence aka ‘yahoo yahoo’ than practice gambling, an even worse vice according to Kuti.
In a video making rounds on social media, Seun Kuti, the youngest son of the legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti remarked that gambling was slowly ruining African youths and taking them far away from achieving their dreams and aspirations.
Fela Kuti‘s youngest son added that gambling was a white man’s go-to hobby and that it has been rigged to steal from Africa through false hopes.
According to the father of one, he prefers that an African youth engages in cybercrime rather than gambling because cybercrime is still something that one can control, unlike the latter vice.
