Dani Alves, a Brazilian football legend who at 39 was the oldest player to feature for Brazil in the 2022 World cup, has been arrested by the police for Alleged sexual assault.
Alves is scheduled to appear in court today over the case.
Alves, speaking on the issue, maintains that he is innocent of such a crime, according to him, he was at the said location with other people but he sure doesn’t know who the lady is.
“I want to deny everything, first. I was there, in that location, I was there with more people, having a good time,” he said.
“I am very sorry, but I don’t know who this lady is,” he also said.
