Reports have it that, 49 children drowned in Pakistan Dam after their boat capsized into the river, the children who were students of Madrassa has been taken for an excursion to the Scenic Tanda Dam lake on Sunday.
According to the Pakistan police, it took the divers three days to get the bodies out of the dam, as the water was so cold and the divers could not five deep to recover the bodies.
“The water of the dam was freezing due to cold weather that impeded the rescue mission. But today the divers were able to dive deep to recover the remaining bodies,” said Khateer Ahmad, a senior official with Rescue 1122.”
According to Fazel Naeem, the police spokesperson the boat was overloaded beyond its capacity, and they were ae to rescue four students and one teacher.
The events as to the drowning are still not clear, because why will a school let students go for an excursion and overload them on the boat without Lifeguard, the school needs to be sanctioned for endangering the life of the kids
