However, since the appointment of Graham Potter as Chelsea’s coach, Mendy lost his place to Kepa Arrizabalaga, due to Mendy’s poor form.
The Senegalese goalkeeper’s contract with Chelsea is to expire at the end of next season, but the club which is considering downsizing its large squad is eager to sell off the player.
