The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abuja Zonal Command, has charged one Aiosa Kelvin Orhue with three counts of love scam before Judge C.E. Nwecheonwu of the FCT High Court, Kuje, Abuja.
According to the EFCC, sometime in 2021 in Abuja, Orhue, who goes by Fredrick Leonard on social media, acquired N104,000,000 (One Hundred and Four Million Naira) from one Cheryldene Cook under pretense and with intent to defraud.
Orhue pretended to be actor Frederick Leonard, who was in love with her and convinced her that he was going to marry her, which he knew was fiction.
According to the EFCC, the accused has pleaded guilty to the accusations.
