President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice President Yemi Osinbajo along with 44 ministers in the Federal Executive Council will soon begin declaring their assets ahead of May 29 when their administration will come to an end.
The Special Adviser to the CCB Chairman on General Duties, Dr. Mustapha Musa confirmed this news on Sunday, April 2, saying that the necessary arrangements had been made for the issuance of the asset forms to the outgoing officials and their incoming successors.
Additionally, the outgoing presidential aides, together with 28 state governors and their cabinet members, the National Assembly and state assembly members, and local government chairmen will all obtain the assets declaration forms from the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB and submit them to the CCB in accordance with the 1999 constitution.
