Super Eagles player, Victor Osimhen can be said to be the lucky charm of Napoli, as he has helped Napoli climbed up the ladder in the Serie A and for the first time in history, Napoli might cliche the Serie A title and also helped them to make it to the semi Finals in the Champions League.
Unfortunately, it was announced by the President of the club, that Osimhen won’t be playing in the first leg fixture against AC Milan in the semi Finals of the champions league, which takes place today. This news didn’t sit well with fans, considering that AC Milan thrashed Napoli 4-0 last month with Osimhen missing in action.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Napoli’s captain has assured fans that despite Osimhen’s absence, they’ll still do well, as they don’t depend on only Osimhen but on all available players for the match.
“We know that Osimhen is a great player and he is very important to us, but we don’t depend only on one player. We have and have full confidence in the available players.”
