Police officials had on Tuesday, May 2, begin questioning the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa-Ari, at the Force Headquarters in FCT Abuja, over reported impropriety during the April 15 supplementary governorship poll in Adamawa State.

This is coming as the suspended Adamawa REC had in an interview with BBC Hausa remarked that he had no regrets nor qualms about announcing Aisha Dahiru as the winner of the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa State.

Recall that Yunusa-Ari had stirred controversy after he announced Binani the winner even while the collation of results was yet to be completed.
