A Twitter user shared a video showing how some policemen were assaulting a man just because he refused to give them his phone, he tagged the Lagos State Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, and the Spokesperson for the police force, Olamuyiwa Adejobi.
Reacting to this, Olamuyiwa Adejobi directed that Benjamin Hundeyin conduct an investigation to fish out the police officers in the video, and even ordered that the victim should message him
On Friday, Olamuyiwa Adejobi revealed that the policemen in the video have been identified and that Benjamin Hundeyin would come up with necessary actions against the policemen.
No doubt, the police force in Nigeria, needs reform, as policemen have deviated from their duties, doing other things which are not part of their portfolio as policemen, we’ve heard stories of policemen collaborating with fraudsters, just to earn money.
