At exactly 12:02 pm one of the greatest Monarchs in the world was crowned king, Charles III has been officially crowned king of England, replacing his mother Queen Elizabeth II who died September 2022 at the age of 96 after reigning as the monarch of England for 70 years.
Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury placed the gold St Edward’s crown on Charles’s head, which is the sacred and ancient symbol of the Monarch’s authority, without it, a king or queen does not command authority.
The Coronation is considered one of the biggest events in the world, which saw the attendance of several dignitaries all over the world.
