Woman Dies While Separating her Sons Fight

Tragedy strikes at the Kpaduma II area of Asokoro in Abuja, where a woman named Zainab Ibrahim was killed while Separating a fight between her sons.

According to a witness, seeing her two sons, Inusa and Usman engaged in a heated fight, she tried to come in between them, but unfortunately, Inusa mistakenly macheted her on her left hand.

The Spokesperson for the FCT Command, Josephine Adeh confirmed the news, as she revealed that someone alerted them of what was going on, they immediately dispatched some men to the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital, but was already dead before they got to the hospital.

They confirmed that they’ve arrested one of the sons, and the other one ran away, the police are still investigating the matter to see what their next step would be.

“We received a distress call and rushed to the scene. The mother was taken to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. Usman is in custody while Inusa is at large. An investigation is, however, ongoing on the matter,” the police spokesperson added.
