Department of State Services, DSS, officials have stormed the Lagos State office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, asserting ownership of the building located at No 15A Awolowo Road in Lagos.
According to reports, the DSS officials had arrived in the Lagos premises on Monday, May 29 and parked their vehicle on the road leading to the EFCC office.
Nobody had thought anything to be amiss as the EFCC staff had presumed the DSS operatives to be there for inauguration day peacekeeping but trouble had begun when operatives from the DSS reportedly moved into the EFCC premises to prevent its staff from gaining access to the building on Tuesday, May 30.
As of the time of writing this report, officials of the EFCC could be seen milling outside their offices with the DSS still firmly in charge of their locked building
