The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) remains committed to its relentless efforts in combating the drug menace, as it persists in conducting raids on suspected drug dealers’ residences. Emphasizing the perilous nature of illicit substances, the NDLEA recently apprehended a taxi driver named Godwin Ejiro, who was found in possession of cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud during a raid on his apartment.

Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy at the NDLEA, revealed this development in a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday. Babafemi stated that Ejiro was actively engaged in the sale of illegal drugs to young individuals, and he cunningly concealed the narcotics inside plastic tables within his residence.

Despite masquerading as a taxi driver, Ejiro’s true identity was that of a drug dealer, ruthlessly propagating the distribution of harmful substances among vulnerable youths, consequently wreaking havoc upon their lives and the local community.

Babafemi expressed, “This individual, disguised as a taxi driver, callously ruins the lives of innocent young people within the community by selling them cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud. The shocking discovery was made during an #ndlea_nigeria raid, revealing the hidden cache of drugs within his residence, as depicted in the accompanying video.”

This incident occurs only a week after NDLEA operatives unearthed a clandestine laboratory involved in the production of methamphetamine in Lagos State’s Ikeja area. In addition to seizing various sachets of the drug, law enforcement also recovered an assortment of chemicals employed in the manufacturing process.

The NDLEA swiftly executed an operation at the lab situated on No. 4 Bode Oluwo Street, Mende, Maryland Ikeja, on Tuesday, June 6th, successfully confiscating one kilogram of packaged methamphetamine. Determined efforts to apprehend the homeowner are currently underway.
