The Oyo State Command of Western Nigeria Security Network, WNSN, a.k.a Amotekun, has arrested not less than four people in Ogbomoso.
According to reports, four people had been arrested on Saturday, July 14, on the grounds of allegedly using hard drugs in Aaje area, Ogbomoso. The arrest had been made after a tip-off to police officials was made from residents in the area.
It has been confirmed that the suspects were taken into police custody at the police area command office at Owode.
Prior to this arrest, Aaje had witnessed several civil disturbances a few weeks back which saw several hoodlums destroying valuable properties during the attack.
The State Amotekun commandant state, Col. Olayinka Olayanju rtd, had confirmed the arrest to journalists on Sunday, July 15, stating that the suspects had been arrested because their plans to disturb the peace of the state had been uncovered.
