In one video, an elderly man, believed to be a family member, expressed skepticism about trusting Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, with the late singer’s possessions. He acknowledged the unfortunate event but cautioned those present to remain vigilant and not place unwavering trust in the widow.
Towards the end of this video, a group of young men appeared, seemingly with intentions to forcibly take control of Mohbad’s properties from his wife.
Another video featured a woman accusing Omowunmi of inadequately handling the singer’s burial arrangements. She voiced her discontent and stated that they wanted to showcase the widow’s actions. Mohbad’s tragic demise stemmed from complications arising from an ear infection. Sources within his team revealed that he sought medical attention on September 12, 2023, at a hospital. After receiving treatment, an injection was administered, but he lost consciousness shortly after and never regained it.
