Family Feuds Erupt After Mohbad’s Death: Who Can Be Trusted with the Late Singer’s Legacy?

The passing of the talented musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has brought to light a troubling situation with videos circulating on social media. These videos reveal distant relatives of the late singer attempting to lay claim to his assets, raising questions about trust and family dynamics.

In one video, an elderly man, believed to be a family member, expressed skepticism about trusting Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, with the late singer’s possessions. He acknowledged the unfortunate event but cautioned those present to remain vigilant and not place unwavering trust in the widow.

Towards the end of this video, a group of young men appeared, seemingly with intentions to forcibly take control of Mohbad’s properties from his wife.

Another video featured a woman accusing Omowunmi of inadequately handling the singer’s burial arrangements. She voiced her discontent and stated that they wanted to showcase the widow’s actions. The video ended with a comment about the contrast between Mohbad’s past use of gold jewelry and the simplicity of his burial.

Mohbad’s tragic demise stemmed from complications arising from an ear infection. Sources within his team revealed that he sought medical attention on September 12, 2023, at a hospital. After receiving treatment, an injection was administered, but he lost consciousness shortly after and never regained it.

The situation surrounding the late singer’s properties underscores the unfortunate reality of property disputes, even in times of mourning, and raises concerns about the well-being of his five-month-old child.
