Lack of fire in the belly: Where was the usual Nigerian passion, the unyielding desire to win? Apart from Osimhen’s flashes of brilliance, the team seemed to lack that extra spark, that burning hunger for victory.
Individual over team: Too often, it felt like each player was playing for their own glory rather than the collective good. True teamwork, where every player runs through walls for their teammates, was missing on the pitch.
Looking Ahead:
This draw is a wake-up call for the Super Eagles. They need to find their claws, their killer instinct, and their unity if they want to lift the AFCON trophy.
