Jigawa Government Sets Up Three New Agencies

The Jigawa State executive council has given its approval for the establishment of three new agencies.

Sagir Musa Ahmad, the Commissioner for Information, Youth Support and Culture, had announced this to newsmen.

Ahmad had said that a resolution was reached at the state executive council meeting led by Governor Umar Namadi.

The commissioner had explained that the council’s resolution had come after the submission of Draft Bills on New Agencies which was sent to the State House Assembly for passage into law.

The newly proposed Agencies for which the bills were drafted include/ Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency, JISITDEA, and Jigawa State Residents Identity Management Agency, JISRIMA.

Others were: Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board, JISSEB, and Jigawa State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board
