Due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, numerous agricultural farms in the Tekuma region near the Gaza Strip border have suffered damage and abandonment.

In response, the Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development has announced an allocation of 180 million shekels (approximately 48.5 million dollars) to rehabilitate and develop these affected farms.

One of the devastating consequences of war is its impact on the land and the economic stability of the country, often resulting in famine and starvation in affected areas.
