Conditions are worsening as rescue teams struggle to locate the site of the helicopter crash involving Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi. In an unfolding drama on Sunday, one of the helicopters in President Raisi’s convoy went down, as reported by state media.
An Iranian commander mentioned that the crash site was identified, but Iran’s Red Crescent contradicted this, stating it remains undiscovered.
The situation looks increasingly dire as a severe blizzard hits the crash area, complicating rescue efforts.
“The area has very cold, rainy, and foggy weather conditions. The rain is gradually turning into snow,” an army commander explained.
A video below illustrates the harsh weather as rescue teams search the mountainous region.
In an unexpected twist, President Putin has ordered two advanced airplanes, helicopters, and 50 professional mountain rescuers to Tabriz to aid in the search for Raisi’s helicopter.
Despite the lack of official information on Raisi’s status, many Iranians are prematurely celebrating his death.
@gghamar tweeted, “The #IRGCterrorists Raisi is dead! The Butcher of Tehran had the blood of thousands of innocent Iranian people on his disgusting hands. Today is an amazing day for Iranians. Long live the freedom-loving people of Iran. Congrats on the death of this Islamofascist Nazi terrorist.”
@dreaddogs1 added, “Congratulations to all the ladies of Iran … hope they overcome the terrible treatment against women.”
@MahyarTosi commented, “The western privileged elite are criticizing the Iranians, from their ivory towers, because they are celebrating the President’s helicopter crash. The Iranian people who’ve been butchered by the Islamic occupiers don’t give a shit about your fake morality. They hate terrorists.”
