Brazilian prodigy Endrick continued to impress on the international stage, scoring a dramatic 96th-minute winner to seal a thrilling 3-2 victory for Brazil against Mexico at Kyle Field in Texas.

The 17-year-old, poised to join Real Madrid in July, capitalized on a pinpoint cross from future club teammate Vinicius Junior to secure the win. This goal marked another milestone for Endrick, making him the second-youngest player in Brazil’s history to score three goals for the national team, trailing only the legendary Pelé.

Brazil initially took command of the match with first-half goals from Andreas Pereira and Gabriel Martinelli. However, Mexico mounted a spirited comeback with late strikes from Julian Quinones and Guillermo Martinez during second-half stoppage time, seemingly rescuing a draw for El Tri.

Endrick, unmarked in the box, delivered the decisive blow, flicking in Vinicius Junior’s cross to clinch the victory for Brazil. This last-gasp goal adds to Endrick’s burgeoning reputation, having already scored against England and Spain earlier this year.

His debut goal for Brazil came against England in March, where he became the youngest male scorer at Wembley Stadium. He followed this with a goal in a 3-3 draw against Spain, underscoring his knack for crucial strikes.

As Brazil prepares for the Copa America, Endrick’s recent performances have earned him the coveted number nine shirt. The Selecao, under the guidance of Dorival Junior, are set to face Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Colombia in Group D, beginning their campaign on June 24 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

Endrick’s match-winning heroics signal his growing importance to Brazil’s national team and his potential to shine at Real Madrid in the near future.
