Actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed her gratitude to her partner, Paul Okoye, for his unwavering support amid the online attacks by Verydarkman (VDM). The drama began after singer Davido married Chioma in Lagos on June 25, with numerous dignitaries in attendance. VDM criticized Iyabo for arriving late, questioning her status as an A-list celebrity.
VDM also targeted billionaire businessman Obi Cubana for getting involved. In response, Iyabo Ojo mocked VDM by posting videos comparing him to an animal, prompting VDM to retaliate by insulting her and Paul Okoye.
Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has since praised her partner, Paul Okoye, a music executive, for standing by her during the feud with media personality Vincent Otse (VDM). She shared an audio clip featuring Paul’s image, commending him for his support and influence. Iyabo also criticized VDM for attacking Obi Cubana and questioned VDM’s contributions to society.
Obi Cubana addressed the issue, urging blogs to stop giving attention to people like VDM, which led to further backlash from VDM. Isaac Fayose eventually called for peace, praising everyone involved and asking music producer Samuel Oguachuba (Samklef) to return his laptop.
