Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has suspended two commissioners and two other appointed officials for unexplained reasons. The suspension was issued on Tuesday evening and takes immediate effect.
Gyang Bere, the Governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, issued the following statement: “The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, has approved the immediate suspension of four critical officers.
Hon. Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, and Hon. Jamila Tukur, Commissioner of Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality, are among the authorities who are impacted.
Hon. Moses Sule, the liaison officer for the Mikang Constituency, and Hon. Dio Lamul, the special adviser on rural development, are also impacted. The suspensions start working right away.
