President Bola Tinubu has recognized the difficulties Nigerians are going through and has promised that his government is working to solve these problems.
Speaking through Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume at Pastor Tunde Bakare’s 70th birthday celebration in Lagos, Tinubu mentioned that “things are tough now, but there is always hope at the end.”
Akume explained that solving big problems takes time, like making coffee, but he believes the government is making good progress. The current economic issues are due to recent changes, including fuel subsidy removal and Naira floating, which are needed to improve the economy.
Tinubu commended Pastor Bakare, calling him “a symbol of hope and a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves,” due to his commitment to fairness and honesty. Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun also recognized Bakare’s efforts as a religious leader and someone who helps build the nation.
