115 Kano state natives have received N128.25 million in scholarships from the Kano state Agro Pastoral Project (KSADP).
Malam Ibrahim Garba, the state project coordinator, who made this announcement at the start of the disbursement, stated that the scholarship is only available to students enrolled in agricultural extension and livestock-related studies.
The project supports five Ph.D. students, ten Msc students, fifty Ordinary National Diploma and fifty Higher National Diploma students from Kano in the fields of milk processing, livestock management, crop extension, and Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, as well as polytechnics and colleges of agriculture. It is funded by the Islamic Development Bank, the Lives and Livelihood Funds, and the Kano State Government.
