Blessing Demehin, Rivers Defender, has praised the super Falconets for their performance in the U-20 Women’s World Cup even though they crashed out after losing to the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.
Demehin featured in all four matches for the super Falconets.
According to Demehin, this is definitely not how they wanted to end the tournament, but they’ll have to accept reality, the tournament offered them exposure and despite crashing out, she’s immensely proud of her team.
“This is not how we wanted to end the competition but we have to accept, learn from it, and grow. The experience and exposure were needed too. Super proud of the Team. Thank you for all your good wishes and support,” she Tweeted.
The super Falconets did their best considering their performances at the group stages, there will always be a next time. Go super Falconets!
