Another twenty-one survivors of last Thursday’s train-bus tragedy in Lagos have been released.
Their release yesterday puts the total number of injured civil servants transported in the bus to their workplace when the tragedy occurred at Sogunle to 53.
Several injured bus passengers are currently being treated at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, General Hospital Odan-Lagos, and General Hospital, Gbagada.
Oreoluwa Aina, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who died in the tragedy, has been buried.
Aina, 28, was assigned by the NYSC to the Curriculum Services Department of the state Ministry of Education in Alausa for her primary assignment before her death.
The Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, the State Coordinator of the NYSC, Yetunde Baderinwa, and devastated family members attended Aina’s burial at Atan Cemetry.
