Singer and record producer Bloody Civilian has stirred up a storm on social media by accusing the controversial Nollywood producer and pastor, Helen Ukpabio, of horrific acts of child abuse.
Bloody Civilian, in no-holds-barred tweets, accused Ukpabio’s ministry of promoting the labeling of children as witches and how such encouraged unimaginable atrocities to be committed, such as children being burned alive. Her claims came as the pastor celebrated her 60th birthday, sparking outrage and forcing Nigerians to revisit Ukpabio’s dark legacy.
Bloody Civilian was supported by many on social media, sharing a variety of personal experiences with Ukpabio’s teachings. The pastor’s daughter fought back, threatening to go to court and calling the accusations baseless.
The question is, will justice be served for Ukpabio, or will this be another case thrown in the bottomless pit? Social media isn’t letting this one go quietly.
