A woman accusing Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her when she was 13 has admitted there are inconsistencies in her story but insists her claims are true.

In that suit, a woman described only as “Jane Doe,” alleges the assault happened in the early morning hours of the day after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. Jay-Z and Combs deny the charge, and their lawyers want it thrown out.

Jay-Z referred to the lawsuit as a “false complaint” and a “money grab,” while Combs’ lawyers labeled it a “shameful money grab.” The accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, says the claims are still being investigated and that she is committed to proving her case.

This case is one of many lawsuits Buzbee has filed against Combs on behalf of multiple accusers.
